Respiratory Therapist (RT)

Looking for a Part-time talented and motivated Respiratory Therapist (RT) to join our dynamic team. The position is within a Skilled Nursing facility for a Respiratory Rehab Service Position. Candidate should possess passion for geriatric population, must contain a license in the state of practice, be able to evaluate and complete daily caseload, and possess the desire to perform functional therapeutic activities as they relate to cardiac and pulmonary impairments to assist residents improve in their quality of life.

Job Description
Completes assessments and implements respiratory techniques to maintain and progress the rehab patients with many different Respiratory illness/diseases and non-respiratory illness.
Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate, check, and assemble equipment.
Complete a variety of bedside treatments.
Complete in-services for nursing staff every quarter
Responsible for completing daily, weekly and monthly documentation.
Attending applicable IDT meetings.
Experience with tracheotomy.
Experience is a long-term care setting
Follow procedure and protocol of facility.
Completes tracking, auditing and caseload management.
Performs related duties as required.

Oxygen weaning therapy
Omniflow - Biofeed back
Group respiratory therapy.
Standardized respiratory testing.
Aerosol therapy
AccuPAP therapy
Incentive Spirometry
Chest physiotherapy
Deep breathing and coughing
Bronchial hygiene therapy
PEP therapy
Postal Drainage
Positioning
Oro/Naso-pharyngeal suctioning
Airway clearance/management techniques
Trachea-bronchial suctioning
Tracheostomy care
Mechanical Ventilator
Spirometry Bedside Testing
CPAP/BIPAP
High-Flow Oxygen
CHF program
Cardiac Program
Pulmonary Program
Cardio-pulmonary resuscitation

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program. Licensed as RRT or CRT.
Licensed in the state in which practicing BLS certification.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Shift:
8 hour shift

Ability to Relocate:
Dover, OH: Relocate before starting work (Required)

Work Location: In person
