Epsilon C5I (), a division of Epsilon Systems Solutions, is a 100 percent employee-owned company founded in 1998 with more than 20 locations serving the Department of Defense, Department of Energy, Department of Homeland Security, non-profit and commercial customers. The Dayton division has recently been named as one of only five prime awardees for the 10-year, $4.7 billion NOVASTAR contract supporting the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC), WPAFB, Ohio. We have an immediate need to fill the Navigation Modeling and Simulation (M&S) Engineer/Scientist 3 (ES3). The candidate will perform in-depth scientific and technical all-source S&TI analysis against adversary avionics integration efforts, in the priority set by the Government. Analysis shall be focused on individual bomber/navigation related avionics, their integration, and analysis of sensor integration using standard design, testing requirements, and data bus interface standards. Candidates must be able to work independently and as part of a technical team and have effective oral and written communication skills. Successful candidates will have strong problem solving and critical thinking skills. An active TS/SCI clearance is required. Duties and Responsibilities: Designing, programming and using standalone tools with open-source software and libraries (Python) heavily preferred.
Provide written documentation for all findings, including the sources, methodologies, and uncertainties.
Build technical models in CAMEO MBSE tool.
Document S&TI data, to include capturing assessments, analysis, sources, and the uncertainties of assessments in the form of a technical report,
Write analysis reports and develop briefings.
Work independently and in a team environment. Required Qualifications: At a minimum, Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, computer science, or mathematics.
10 or more years of relevant experience.
Applicant Must have an active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance, with SCI access.
Experience in creating technical models in CAMEO MBSE tool.
Experience programming in python.
Underlying knowledge with advanced aircraft navigation subsystems and overall aircraft system integration.
Pursuant to the various government contractual requirements, all applicants must be U.S. Citizens. Desired Qualification Familiarity with Matlab/Simulink/Stateflow TMAP.
Familiarity with NASIC in house tools such as Argo, Kalais, and Impulse.
Experience with multi-vehicle simulation environments such as AFSIM, NGTS, ITASE, and JSE.
Experience with one or more of the following: Experience with Threat Model M&S R&D process
Experience with merging model architectures, enhance model subsystem reuse, and accurately model emerging threat capabilities.
Aircraft experience.
Research on signal processing techniques, hardware, algorithms, and predictive performance. ADA Notations: Regular communication (hearing/speaking).
Noise conditions range from very quiet to very noisy.
Prolonged use of computer (typing/keyboarding).
Frequently required to sit for long periods of time, stand, and walk.
