Description:

The Director of Strategic Outreach is responsible for expanding the organization's reach, building strategic partnerships, and ensuring the successful implementation of outreach initiatives that drive revenue growth and the organization's mission and goals forward.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning:

• Develop and implement comprehensive outreach strategies to enhance the organization's visibility, reputation, and impact.
• Align outreach initiatives with the organization's mission, vision, financial goals, and strategic objectives.

Partnership Development:

• Identify and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, including schools, sports organizations, community groups, corporate sponsors, and government agencies.
• Introduce and cultivate partnerships that support the organization's goals.

Program Management:

• Oversee the planning and execution of outreach programs and initiatives.
• Ensure outreach efforts are effective, innovative, and financially aligned with organizational priorities.

Community Engagement:

• Represent the organization at events, conferences, and meetings to promote its programs and build strong community ties.
• Engage with community leaders and influencers to advocate for the organization's mission and goals.

Marketing and Communications:

• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop outreach materials, campaigns, and communication strategies.
• Utilize various platforms (social media, press releases, newsletters, etc.) to effectively communicate with target audiences.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

• Monitor and analyze outreach metrics to assess the effectiveness of strategies and programs.
• Prepare reports and presentations for senior leadership, highlighting key achievements, financial goals, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.

Budget Management:

• Develop and manage the outreach budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to achieve strategic goals.
• Monitor expenditures and financial performance of outreach initiatives.

Advocacy and Policy Influence:

• Advocate for policies and initiatives that support the organization's mission and objectives.
• Work with policymakers and influencers to shape public policy and funding priorities.

Fundraising Support:

• Support fundraising efforts by identifying potential donors and sponsors.
• Develop and maintain relationships with funders and contribute to grant writing and reporting.

Key Tasks:

Community Engagement:

• Continue to grow the local and regional awareness of SPIRE's mission and goals to facilitate the development of strategic partnerships.
• Create relationships that lead to income streams that support SPIRE's core business.
• Facilitate the successful execution of SPIRE's outreach efforts within key departments- Fit, Academy, Camps, Events, and SPRI.

Government Relations:

• Lead efforts in securing local, regional, state, and national funding support with Benesch.
• Facilitate applicable loan and grant processes.
