About this Position:
The Quality Engineer will lead resolution of factory related outflow issues as a subject matter expert by promoting the customer voice to improve the quality of the products. You will investigate problems to determine root cause and countermeasure/containment activity with responsible departments for overall CBU improvement.
Responsibilities include:
- Review and analyze market information from all available sources
- Investigate and develop countermeasures to resolve manufacturing issues
- Create and present technical reports, status updates and problem summaries for assigned items.
- Perform audits of product to feedback current conditions to responsible departments
- Support and complete MQ related projects and business themes
- Work with Sales/Service divisions to develop field repair techniques
Who we are seeking:
Required Work Experience:
- 0-6 years of relevant engineering experience dependent upon education
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering field (Mechanical, Industrial, etc.) or equivalent related experience
Desired skills:
- Results oriented with problem management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft software (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, PowerBI)
- Ability to extract and interpret drawing/specification information
- Communication skills for presenting
- Basic mechanical skill to remove/install automotive components
Additional Position Factors:
- Flexibility in work hours and average of 1 Hr/day of OT, weekend work and production support as needed
- Ability to travel as needed, domestic and international.
- Daily job function variability and environment (Open Office, Production Line & Outdoor)
