Job description

A Mechanical Engineer job in Mentor, OH is available courtesy of Akkodis. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.

Pay: $85,000 - $90,000

Mechanical Engineer job responsibilities are:

• Product Development and Improvement - estimate product costs; develop comprehensive process documentation for training and identify and develop new vendors

• Process Development - work with customers and organization al inputs to develop, maintain and enhance manufacturing processes

• Equipment specification and plant layout

• Support quality management system

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree preferred

• Minimum of 3+ years engineering experience

• Experience creating/modifying Bill of Materials (BOMs)

• Experience creating SOPs, works instructions, control plans

• Proficiency with Solidworks, Fusion, 360 or equivalent CAD
