Job description

Flexible Work Arrangement: 3 days (M, T, W) on-site in Newark, Ohio, Orlando or Weston, FL; 2 days remote. This role is not eligible for sponsorship RESPONSIBILITIES Supervisory Responsibilities: Interview and select candidates for openings, set goals for associates, assign tasks/duties, conduct on-the-job training, develop associates' skills and encourage growth, prepare disciplinary write-ups as appropriate, prepare and conduct performance reviews and make recommendations for salary adjustments, approve timecards for FTEs and other duties associated with managing a staff. Develop and implement comprehensive software testing strategies to ensure the highest levels of product quality; this includes creating detailed test plans, test cases, and automated testing frameworks. Lead and mentor the QA team, including QA engineers, testers, and automation specialists by fostering a collaborative environment and promoting continuous improvement in the QA process. Oversee the execution of manual and automated testing throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC), ensuring that all functionality, performance, and security aspects are tested thoroughly. Work closely with software development teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, define quality standards, and establish clear testing protocols. Manage the defect tracking process, ensuring issues are properly logged, prioritized, and resolved efficiently. Track and report on key testing metrics, including bug discovery, fix rates, and test coverage. Lead the development and implementation of automated testing solutions to enhance test coverage, reduce manual efforts, and accelerate testing cycles. Define, monitor, and report on quality metrics such as defect density, test coverage, and pass/fail rates. Provide regular updates on software quality to senior management and project teams. Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and security practices. Implement and enforce best practices related to testing, security, and performance across all projects. Drive continuous improvement in testing methodologies, tools, and processes to enhance overall product quality and streamline QA efforts. Maintain awareness of and adherence to Bank's compliance requirements and risk management concepts, expectations, policies and procedures and apply them to daily tasks. Deliver a consistent, high level of service within our Serving More standards. Other duties as assigned. EDUCATION - CERTIFICATIONS - WORK EXPERIENCE High School diploma or equivalent required Bachelors in Computer Science or Business Administration preferred 4+ years of software QA testing Strong meeting management skills TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS AND OTHER INFORMATION Minimal travel is expected. This position must be able to remain in a stationary position a minimum of 75% of the time, constantly operate a computer, and be able to be in constant communication with customers and coworkers to discuss and observe account information in order to exchange accurate information. Work from office locations in Newark, OH, Orlando or Weston, FL for candidates local to the area with the option for fully remote based on incumbent's home location.
