Job description

The Trumbull County Board of Developmental Disabilities has an excellent opportunity for an Accounting Associate in its program. Responsibilities include processing payroll, reviewing and processing invoices, making the necessary mathematical computations for posting and maintaining accurate records. Must be able to compile, update and maintain a variety of financial reports, submit reports and funding to other agencies while maintaining harmonious and effective relationships with other employees, consumers, parents/guardians and local community service agencies. While candidates will be responsible for performing all the tasks listed above, the primary focus of this position will be on processing payroll and working with the County Auditor's office. Ideal candidates will have two (2) years' experience with processing payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable and maintaining a general ledger. Business school and/or Associate Degrees from an accredited college or university desirable. Bachelor of Science in Business Administration preferred. Experience using computer hardware and software, including word processing, desktop publishing, and spreadsheet applications. Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation (BCII), Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and abuser registry clearances. Ability to access worksite(s) required.
