Position Title: Patrolman
The Sheffield Lake Police Department is seeking candidates for the position of Entry Level Patrolman. Candidates must complete the NTN Frontline National Exam and the Public Safety Self-Assessment. A city application is also required and must be submitted directly to the Sheffield Lake Police Department before the deadline.

Salary Information:
Starting Salary: $54,452.76 annually ($26.1792 per hour)

High School Diploma or Equivalent
Valid Ohio Drivers License
Successful completion of a comprehensive background investigation
Job Requirements:
Age: 21
Citizenship: U.S. Citizen
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Driver's License: Valid Ohio Driver's License required
Language: Ability to read and speak English
College: Not required
Academy Certification: Required (OPOTA certification)
Experience: Preferred but not mandatory

Maintains records according to established procedures
Handles sensitive telephone and public inquiries professionally
Develops and maintains effective working relationships and resolves complaints effectively
