Project Manager / Estimator - Civil

Project Manager Qualifications


  • Construction Management or Civil Engineering degree is preferred
  • 2 years of experience as a Project Manager and/or Estimator on Civil Construction projects
  • Strong communication skills, able to lead meetings with clients
  • Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, and Microsoft Office tools, and some knowledge of applicable project management software (Heavy Job, Heavy Bid, P-6 scheduling).

Project Manager / Estimator Responsibilities


  • Provide detailed constructability reviews of project documents; make recommendations.
  • Provide feedback on the development of construction procurement documents, including plans.
  • Assist in estimating projects, solicitation of vendors/subcontractors, collaboration with superintendents/owners/engineers to properly establish pricing for a bid or proposal.
  • Assist in the procurement of projects using various delivery methods, including Design / Bid / Build, Design / Build, P3, and other innovative project delivery methodologies.
  • Review customer requests through formal or informal processes and provide prompt responses to keep projects on schedule.
