Position Summary

The Supervisor, Behavioral Health will oversee the clinical operations of our behavioral health programs, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services that align with our mission and comply with all regulatory standards. This role involves providing clinical supervision to staff, facilitating program development, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to optimize client outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Supervision:

    • Provide regular supervision to behavioral health staff, including therapists and counselors.
    • Oversee case consultations and ensure adherence to best practice standards.
  • Program Management:

    • Develop, implement, and evaluate behavioral health programs and services.
    • Ensure programs meet all state and federal regulations, as well as accreditation standards.
  • Client Care:

    • Oversee the development of Individualized Treatment Plans (ITPs) that address clients' unique needs.
    • Monitor client progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
  • Staff Development:

    • Identify training needs and coordinate professional development opportunities.
    • Mentor staff to enhance clinical skills and professional growth.
  • Compliance and Documentation:

    • Ensure accurate and timely documentation in compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
    • Participate in audits and implement corrective action plans as needed.
  • Collaboration:

    • Work closely with other departments and external agencies to coordinate comprehensive care.
    • Engage with families and community resources to support client recovery.
Qualifications
  • Education:

    • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
  • Licensure:

    • Current and valid licensure as a LISW-S, LPCC-S, or LIMFT-S in the state of Insert State .
  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in behavioral health settings.
    • Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
  • Knowledge and Skills:

    • Strong understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficient in electronic health records and documentation practices.
    • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
