Position Summary
The Senior Specialist, Supply Chain Planning is responsible for owning Supply Chain analytical and reporting activities, managing updates to Planning process documentation, leading planning excellence initiatives, contributing to Supply Chain continuous improvement projects, and providing inventory and warehouse capacity analysis support.
The Senior Specialist, Supply Chain Planning will independently manage assigned reporting responsibilities to meet the needs of key internal customers including site leadership, Operations, Commercial, Finance, Tech Ops, MSAT, and project teams. This must be done while maintaining compliance to cGMP's and other regulatory requirements.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide primary support and coordination for routine and ad-hoc reporting on multiple delivery, cost, and quality metrics.
• Create and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly production and quality release reports to commercial and finance teams to support production decisions, billing, and revenue recognition.
• Extract and analyze inventory and raw material consumption data to support cost accounting team activities.
• Review and evaluate safety stock levels, minimum order quantities, supplier, and Quality Assurance (QA) lead times on a regular basis to identify continuous improvement opportunities including but not limited to inventory reductions.
• Design and implement warehouse capacity monitor and metrics to provide storage capacity insights to Supply Chain leadership.
• Lead capacity modeling initiative to simulate potential new products, storage locations, and warehousing requirements to ensure ability to deliver all material flow for efficient processing and proactively highlight constraints.
• Support Planning team SAP transactions required to create new components to ensure timely implementation, including BOM and Master Recipe setup and approvals.
• Train and support continuous planning initiatives with the expectation that asset planning will be added as new equipment gets qualified.
• Support the site with ERP master data queries.
• Track and report vendor performance and interface with vendors on supply issues
• Create and update cGMP procedures and documentation to align with updates to Planning and Supply Chain processes.
• Participate in the preparation and facilitation of monthly Material Review Board meetings.
• Collaborate with QA, QA Compliance, and Procurement teams regarding
• Manage all rejected/non-conforming material through the Material Disposition Process.
• Support various site-driven projects and market launches.
• Project manage Planning team continuous improvement initiatives including SAP master data, material requirements planning, and related processes.
• Lead or support cross-site initiatives to standardize workflows and align processes with internal and external customers


Minimum Qualifications
1. Experience in Pharmaceutical and/or other industry supply chain management, or related disciplines
2. Ability to become proficient in computer systems and applications
3. Must be analytical, detail-oriented, independent, and able to prioritize with minimum supervision.

4. Ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve desired business results

Preferred Qualifications
1. Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering, or related discipline
2. Detailed knowledge of SAP, Material Resource Planning (MRP), and Advanced Planning Systems related to pharmaceutical production processes.
3. Knowledge of cGMPs, SHEHS, SOX policies and regulations

4. Experience with demand management in a Lean Manufacturing/Operations setting

Our target base pay hiring range for this position is $70,000.00 - $107,500.00 per year. Actual base pay is dependent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate's geographical location, relevant experience, qualifications, skills and knowledge.
