Job description

ASRC Federal Field Services is seeking an Information Technology Supervisor in support of our Vance AFB Base Operations Support Contract Located in Enid Oklahoma. Schedules and assigns work to IT personnel. Oversees the administration and maintenance of network servers and infrastructure equipment. Ensures technical data, records, procedures, and technical guidelines are updated and maintained. Analyzes threat assessment and vulnerabilities of proposed and established computer/network systems. Responds to actions requested by the customer or higher headquarters. Helps define the scope and objectives of existing and new systems or equipment. Oversees the modifications and maintenance of operational programs and procedures. Assists the Operations Branch Manager with the maintenance and upkeep of the base telephone exchange, switch systems and troubleshooting telephones. Coordinates and provides communications requirements in support of actual or simulated emergency incidents. Reviews plans and technical solutions for base communications and networks. Requirements: Must be 18 years or older Must be a US Citizen due to contract requirements Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance An Associate Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field, or equivalent experience Security+ (CompTIA) ; or GISF - Global Information Assurance Certification Information Security Fundamentals (SANS Institute); or GSLC - Global Information Assurance Certification Security Leadership Certificate (SANS Institute); or CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP+) Required Experience: In-depth knowledge and practical experience of server support, infrastructure network equipment, peripherals, and telecommunications support. Supervisory and management experience is necessary. Preferred Experience: Experience with server support, network protocols and familiar with multiple operating systems. Implementing security patches, technical guidelines and configurations, and time compliance orders. Capable of web programming, scripting, command-line interface, server and switch programming. Experience in creating and writing technical instructions and procedural publications.
