Job description

Just Kids Therapy provides pediatric physical, occupational, and speech therapy to Oklahoma City and the surrounding areas. We are currently seeking a collaborative, skilled Occupational Therapist/Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our Hefner Clinic team. We strive to keep a "patient first" focus and nurture a positive culture amongst our team. We are professional, agile and our goal is to works to acquire maximum functional mobility in children with disabilities or injuries. In a playful and interactive environment, we use specialized, one-on-one techniques to address gross motor deficits in gait (walking), balance, strength, range of motion and safety. Impacting our patients and their families lives one day at a time. Spanish speaking is a plus, being a good human is a Must!

OCCUPATION THERAPIST SHIFT: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. Hefner Clinic

OCCUPATION THERAPIST RESPONSIBILITIES:

Conduct evaluations
Determine eligibility based on medical necessity
Create developmentally appropriate treatment plans through parent collaboration
Provide evidence-based treatment to address deficits that affect quality of daily living and overall mobility
Interprets the progress of patients

Overall, the Pediatric Occupational Therapists collaborates, great delivery, documentation, and outcomes of professional therapy services to pediatrics patients and their families from evaluation to discharge. This position requires use of vehicle.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's of Science in Occupational Therapy (required) or Associates in Applied Sciences
Licensed as an Occupational Therapist/Occupational Therapy Assistant by the OK State Board of Medical Examiners, or a graduate OT eligible for OK licensure, or OT student in the final semester of graduate school
New Grads welcome
Current licensure by the state in which you work (Required)
1 year of experience in a healthcare setting is preferred
Reputation as a reliable professional with clients
Proven ability to manage clients effectively and professionally
Competent in multiple languages (Spanish) (Nice to have)
