Job description

As Project Engineer/Assistant Project Manager you will be charged with the responsibility of providing technical support to the Project Manager and Superintendent on a project to ensure safe projects and desirable outcomes for our Clients and Company. Since nearly all of our work is negotiated with repeat and referral clients we must ensure that our projects are well planned whether they are small or large.

Client Details

This is a construction firm located in OKC that has had a strong presence in the Oklahoma market for over 20 years. This firm specializes in commercial construction projects ranging from $500k- $20M. Projects include retail, office and industrial both tenant improvement and new construction all across the Oklahoma.

Description

The key responsibilities:

  • Assure all projects are built to drawings and specification
  • Handle the distribution and coordination of all RFIs, Submittals and Change Orders
  • Assure all materials orders are executed
  • Daily project paperwork
  • Maintaining schedule and meet deadlines
  • Maintain workflow and strong relations with subs
  • Maintain and organize field documents ( Drawings, specifications, etc )
  • Coordinate subcontractors
  • Partake and actively participate in company training sessions

Profile

A Successful candidate will have:

  • Degree in Construction Management or related degree
  • 1-3 years of General Contracting experience
  • Experienced in commercial or multifamily projects
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Desire and willingness to learn, grow, and take on more responsibility
  • Relevant Software experience
