The Director of Ambulatory Surgery Center is responsible for the overall management and operation of the ambulatory surgical center (ASC) that provides endoscopy procedures to patients. The Director oversees the clinical, financial, regulatory, quality, and human resources aspects of the ASC, ensuring compliance with all applicable standards and regulations. The Director also collaborates with physicians, staff, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality, patient-centered, and cost-effective care. • Bachelor's degree in health administration, nursing, business, or related field required. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of five years of progressive management experience in an ambulatory surgical center, hospital, or other healthcare setting required. Experience in endoscopy services preferred.
• Current and valid license or certification in nursing, administration, or other relevant field required.
• Knowledge of the principles and practices of ambulatory surgery, endoscopy, and healthcare administration, including financial management, quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and human resources management.
• Skills in strategic planning, problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with diverse audiences and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize competing demands.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer applications.

• Plan, organize, direct, and evaluate the ASC's activities, policies, and procedures to achieve optimal performance and outcomes.
• Develop and implement strategic goals, objectives, and initiatives that align with the ASC's mission, vision, and values.
• Manage the ASC's budget, revenue, expenses, and financial reporting, ensuring fiscal responsibility and accountability.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations, as well as accreditation and certification standards, pertaining to the ASC's operations, safety, quality, and infection control.
• Monitor and analyze the ASC's performance indicators, such as volume, productivity, efficiency, satisfaction, and quality, and implement improvement plans as needed.
• Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and evaluate the ASC's staff, ensuring a competent, motivated, and engaged workforce.
• Establish and maintain effective communication and collaboration with physicians, staff, patients, families, vendors, and other external partners.
• Identify and address any issues, concerns, or complaints that may arise in the ASC's operations, ensuring timely and appropriate resolution.
• Stay abreast of the latest trends, developments, and best practices in the field of endoscopy and ambulatory surgery, and participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the executive leadership.
