Job Summary

The staff pharmacist provides clinical pharmacy services to the company and consumers through the appropriate evaluation of physician orders, compounding of sterile preparations, and safe and efficient dispensing of medications, supplies, and administration equipment. The staff pharmacist may supervise the activities of pharmacy support personnel, as well as quality control and performance improvement procedures. This position reports to the pharmacy manager This position can, at any time, be required to assume the duties of any of the various job summaries within the franchised pharmacy, refer to all other job summaries for job requirements. The staff pharmacist may serve as the backup administrative manager of the pharmacy if the primary manager is unavailable for a prolonged period of time.

Qualifications
Required: Licensed pharmacist in good standing with the Board of Pharmacy in the state of patient services; actively licensed in the state of patient services
Required: Good interactive skills with employees, referral sources, physicians, and consumers
Preferred: Three (3) years clinical experience
Preferred: Minimum one (1) year of experience with infusion therapy and sterile compounding
Preferred: Sterile compounding training
Preferred: Experience with management of pharmacy support personnel

Qualifications:
College Degree
Registered with Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy
General knowledge of USP 797
Knowledge of IV products and compounding procedures
Knowledge of proper gowning procedure and aseptic technique
Ability to perform pharmacy calculations and adhere to policies and procedures
6 months IV experience minimum

Compensation will include a competitive base salary and benefits. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and or move up to 20 pounds.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
