Job description

Seeking an experienced Catering Sales Manager to actively solicit, sell, plan, and oversee catering events at our hotel. This role requires a minimum 2 years of catering and wedding sales experience, specifically in a hotel setting.

The successful Catering Sales Manager will utilize their expertise in hotel catering operations to achieve monthly revenue goals. You will solicit new catering business through promotional activities, networking, and cultivating relationships with clients and event planners. Excellent communication skills are essential to prepare proposals, determine client requirements, and oversee events from start to finish.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Selling and booking catering events including business meetings, weddings, and social events
  • Building relationships with existing clients to secure repeat business
  • Entertaining event planners and maintaining those partnerships
  • Preparing effective proposals and finalizing event orders
  • Overseeing client functions and ensuring satisfaction through clear communication with all departments
  • Promoting the property and driving sales through community networking and attendance at industry events
  • Maintaining organized records and correspondence
