Who you are
You are creative, driven, and passionate and love to have fun while youre at work
You enjoy going above and beyond for your team and guests
You have a minimum of five years of progressive experience and leadership in the Culinary Arts
You are self-motivated with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
You thrive in a fast-paced environment and have experience managing multiple Chefs, cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers
You enjoy preparing exceptional food in a timely, courteous and accurate manner
You have pride in your presentation and display of your culinary art
You are able to work evenings, nights, weekends and holidays
What youll do
M anage daily food preparation and execution of meal periods while minimizing waste and spoilage
M anagement of all culinary team members
Receives product and supplies and stocks items in their designated storage areas.
Responsible for the cleanliness and organization of all walk-in and reach-in refrigerators, and dry good storage areas
Ensures clean and sanitary food preparation areas in accordance with state and local sanitation requirements and codes; focus is on food safety, a clean working environment, and careful attention to safe cooking practice
Maintains cleaning standard checklists and performs final inspection of all side duties and closing responsibilities
P urchasing decisions (food, paper goods, supplies) for the department, as well as inventory management
Communicate clearly and develops strong working relationships with all team members working in banquets/events and throughout the property
Remains abreast of industry trends and changes that may affect or enhance the offerings
Participates in providing constructive feedback to team members on a consistent basis, contributing to performance management and employee recognition
