What youll do

• Maintain all areas in good repair by preforming various tasks related to variety of trades including but not limited to carpentry, plumbing, electrical, air conditioning, painting, wall covering, and masonry to ensure an attractive, safe and well-maintained hotel
• Manage work orders to ensure that all repairs and maintenance programs are completed in a timely manner
• Completes daily rounds, identifying and reporting problems and responds to guests and work orders in a timely manner
• Perform or coordinate preventive maintenance routines on building equipment and systems
• Assist in supervising, directing, guiding, coaching and evaluating the performance of the maintenance team members to maximize their abilities and job satisfaction
• Inspect guestrooms, public space and back of the house areas to repair, touch up or replace light bulbs, lamps, switches, outlets, faucets, toilets, hardware, filters, paint, furniture, wall covering, caulking, grouting or other miscellaneous repairs
• Help inform and train resort employees on the safe operation of equipment and facilities, ensuring compliance with fire, life and safety standards/policies and local, state and federal laws and regulations
• Report major repairs and items which cannot be repaired to the Maintenance Manager; keep management/leadership fully informed of problems or matters of significance
• Assist with snow and ice removal during cold weather conditions
• Assist in budget preparation with recommendations for projects, tools, equipment and/or staffing

Compensation details: 27-33 Hourly Wage
