Work you'll do Implement risk management programs for our federal clients by utilizing NIST, RMF, and FISMA compliance frameworks. Enhance cyber awareness with clients and project teams. Work alongside federal clients to help them mitigate risk with the use of continuous monitoring and incident response. Establish security controls to ensure protection of client systems. Implement cutting edge security tools for our federal clients.
Engage with primary cloud security clients on a weekly basis to assess project progress, identify next steps, address roadblocks, and escalate issues as necessary to maintain project momentum and client satisfaction.
Conduct thorough reviews of cloud reference architectures (e.g., AWS, Azure) and security control baselines to ensure they meet efficiency and security standards, providing recommendations for improvements where necessary.
Develop and implement strategies for enhancing cloud security across the Client landscape, aligning efforts with the multi-year cloud security enhancement initiative, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Perform regular risk assessments to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities within the cloud environment, devising and implementing mitigation strategies to safeguard data and systems.
Maintain ongoing communication with all relevant stakeholders, providing updates on project status, security issues, and resolution plans, and ensuring that all parties are informed and aligned with project goals and timelines. Qualifications Required: Bachelor's degree required. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future. Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role. Ability to travel 15-25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clientsandindustries/sectorsyou serve.
3 + Years of Experience working with RMF and NIST 800-53 5 + Years of Experience working with cyber security tools 3 + Years of Experience with cyber awareness (e.g., phishing emails, cyber trainings) Preferred: Prior professional services or federal consulting experience Certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP) The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $97,875 to $163,125. You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
