Job description

Compensation: $21 per hour

We are seeking a motivated Wet End Operator Trainees for temp-to-hire positions. In this role, you will safely and efficiently learn both wet and dry end operations. You'll be responsible for converting raw materials into pulp slurry, monitoring quality, maintaining equipment, and following all safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Learn to operate machinery to convert raw materials into pulp slurry.
• Assist Wet End Operators in ensuring quality and efficiency.
• Document processes, perform tests, and make adjustments as needed.
• Unload and store raw materials using a forklift.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work area.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of production and forklift operation experience.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Previous Production experience a plus
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and weekends.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work in hot and wet conditions.
• Basic ability to use spreadsheets, word processing documents and email a plus.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to stand for extended periods and work in tight or elevated spaces.
• Ability to work outdoors and in a production environment.

Job Details for Wet End Operator Trainee:

• Type: Temp-Hire
• Regular Shift: Mon-Fri, Midnight -8:30 am, with overtime as needed
• Compensation: $21.00 per hour
