About the Position
We are looking for a Residential Administrator to provide daily managerial oversight of The Guest House in Eugene, Oregon. The Residential Administrator is responsible for the overall operations and success of the program and must be able to coordinate and maintain a professional relationship with ColumbiaCare employees, the State of Oregon, and other professional agencies providing services. The Residential Administrator is also responsible for maintaining up-to-date personnel, client, and program records, including the accounting of client and facility funds, training and activity records, and medical and health supports.
The Residential Administrator supervises and evaluates staff and is responsible for staff scheduling to ensure adequate client supervision and support. They must be knowledgeable about personnel policies, OAR, and the applicable rules and standards of other regulatory agencies such as OSHA. Work is primarily performed at the program, but administrators must be accessible by phone for emergency purposes. This position is required to be on call at times, which can include working weekends and some overtime and overnight shifts if there is a business need.
Vocational Training Program
For applicants starting as a QMHA-R, ColumbiaCare offers a Vocational Training Program to accelerate the training, on-the-job experiential learning, and testing preparation for qualified employees to achieve the 1000 supervised hours required to complete their certification as a QMHA-I. Through this program, this certification can be achieved in as little as 6 months. This is an optional program.
Work Schedule: Sunday through Thursday , 8:00am - 5:00pm (Full Time, Day). This position will be on an on-call rotation.
What You'll Make
$6,000 - $7,000 per month DOE/Credentials.
Additional 5% Language Differential offered for Bilingual or Multilingual candidates (Spanish/English desired).
About the Program
The Guest House Crisis Stabilization Center (est. 2020) is a 10-bed, licensed Crisis Residential Treatment Facility that offers expert services and support for individuals who are experiencing a mental health crisis. The program offers a healing, therapeutic environment staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by a team of caring professionals. Specific services include short-term crisis intervention and stabilization, medication management, daily nursing support, motivational interviewing, solution-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, and Peer support. Staff will work closely with the client's existing treatment team for coordinated care.
ColumbiaCare Services is a qualifying employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program.
What You'll Need
• Must be eligible for Qualified Mental Health Associate (QMHA) registration. Eligibility requires 1 out of 3 Criteria below:- Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science: Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Human Development, or related field;
- OR minimum three (3) years of verifiable behavioral health experience working with individuals with behavioral health needs in a supervised setting;
- OR equivalent combination of behavioral science education in addition to satisfactory supplemental behavioral health experience and training
- MUST have prior work experience as a Residential Administrator or have a proven history as an Assistant Administrator within ColumbiaCare Services.
If not already registered as a QMHA through the Mental Health & Addiction Certification Board of Oregon (MHACBO), we will assist you in registering within 30 days of hire.
Driving is an essential function of this position. Successful applicants MUST also have a valid Oregon driver's license, maintain a safe driving record,
and have the ability to pass a DHS criminal background check.
Physical Requirements: This position requires the ability to frequently sit, talk, listen, and use hands and fingers. It may require the ability to occasionally walk, climb stairs and ladders, bend, stoop, squat/kneel, and perform other physical tasks as applicable; as well as lift, carry, push, and pull up to 30 pounds.
