About the Company and Opportunity: Job Cost Bookkeeper/Office Manager

  • Our client is a construction company in the Hillsboro area looking to add a Job Cost Bookkeeper/Office Manager to their team!
  • Reports directly to the owner of the company.
  • This position is responsible for the oversight of daily operations.

Overview of the role: Job Cost Bookkeeper/Office Manager

  • Manage all aspects of the accounting cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation using QuickBooks.
  • Oversee financial reporting to ensure timely submission of invoices and payments.
  • Assist with Human Resources tasks including processing weekly payroll, onboarding, managing employee records, and oversight of health insurance & workers comp insurance renewals & audits.
  • Assist with budgeting and cost control.
  • Provide administrative support, including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and handling correspondence.
  • Maintain a professional and organized environment.
  • Must be able to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion!

Preferred Qualifications: Job Cost Bookkeeper/Office Manager

  • Construction knowledge and Job costing accounting background is preferred.
  • Knowledge of HR practices and procedures is beneficial to this role!
  • QuickBooks, and ADP experience is a huge plus!
  • Proven experience in an office management role.
  • Strong attention to detail and can multitask effectively.
  • Excellent leadership skills.
