Job Summary: The Geologist will be responsible for conducting environmental assessments, developing remediation plans, and providing expert guidance on geological and environmental matters. This role requires a deep understanding of regulatory standards and the ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Conduct Phase I, II, and III environmental site assessments to identify potential contamination and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Perform hydrogeologic evaluations and contamination assessments for soil and groundwater.
  • Design and implement remediation plans, ensuring compliance with CERCLA, RCRA, NEPA, and other environmental regulations.
  • Conduct field investigations, including soil sampling, groundwater monitoring, and geological mapping.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports, environmental impact statements, and compliance documentation.
  • Utilize Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and geological modeling tools for data analysis and project management.
  • Liaise with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met and deliverables are on schedule.
  • Participate in business development activities, including proposal writing, client presentations, and project scoping.
  • Provide expert advice on geological and environmental issues, supporting client decision-making.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Professional Geologist (PG) license in California and/or Washington required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in environmental consulting or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in GIS software and other geological modeling tools.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to project sites as needed.
