The Project Executive leads and manages both the strategic planning and daily execution of all construction, project management, and administrative activities. This role ensures that assigned projects adhere to budgets, schedules, and profitability targets. Additionally, the Project Executive contributes to creating and enforcing company policies and procedures to achieve organizational objectives and align with the corporate mission.
Provide operational oversight in:
- Client management
- Procedural issues
- Financial and reporting matters
- Workforce planning and analysis
Lead and mentor a high-performing team while supporting the Division Manager
Actively manage:
- Workload distribution
- Professional development
- Client development skills of project management staff
Promote positive customer relations by:
- Engaging professionally and fairly with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors
- Instilling a focus on safety, quality, customer service, and profitability within the project team
Initiate, execute, and document quality job start-up meetings for projects
Manage and maintain relationships with "Strategic Partner" subcontractors and vendors, ensuring timely payments
Conduct monthly project reviews to assess:
- Adherence to schedules
- Quality of work
- Safety standards
- Administrative compliance
- Profitability
Analyze and allocate personnel to meet project needs
Assist Project Managers (PMs) and Superintendents in resolving specific issues and requests
Manage customer relations and handle change order negotiations
Represent the company/project in meetings with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders
Participate in project Senior Management meetings
Schedule, facilitate, and document project closeout meetings
Verify project data sheets and photos (with client permission) for all completed projects
Note: Duties and responsibilities describe the general scope of work and may include other tasks as required based on the position's role within the business unit
Qualifications:- Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus
- Minimum of 10 years of project management experience, preferably in electrical construction
- Strong knowledge of construction technology, scheduling, equipment, and methods
- Proven experience in mentoring and managing team members
- Experience in business development and significant client interaction is a plus
- Combination of education, training, and relevant experience will be considered
- Must have experience working in Data Center environments- Non-negotiable
