Job description

Full-time Certified Surgical Tech needed at 2 OR ambulatory surgery center in SW Portland.

We are a multi-specialty surgery center that focuses on cosmetic, spine and laparoscopic surgery. Join our team of exceptional surgeons and staff in a beautiful center with floor to ceiling windows! Staff arrives at 0630 and finishes when cases are done, usually around 1600. We are looking for someone full-time, Monday-Thursday. No holidays, no call.

REQUIREMENTS:

-Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required at date of hire

-Graduation from a Surgical Technician training program or equivalent

-Certified with NBSTSA

-Knowledge of SPD

-High School diploma or equivalent

-2 years minimum cosmetic, spine & laparoscopic experience preferred

OTHER SKILLS:

-Well organized, detail oriented and self-motivated

-Ability to coordinate activities and work collaboratively

-Ability to execute detailed procedures with accuracy and precision

-Basic computer skills

-Understanding of operating room protocols and sterile technique

-Willingness to learn new procedures and work with all specialties
