Interim Accounting Manager - nonprofit, flexible schedule

• Their work is most effectively done through grassroots efforts and advocating for and supporting legislative changes.
• They are searching for and Interim Accounting Manager who will support their year end close, payroll, grant billing and audit management.

About the Interim Accounting Manager Role:

• Manage Accounts Payable using QuickBooks
• Enter invoices and process weekly check runs
• Process employee payroll using Paychex for 10 employees, bi-weekly
• Manage grant billing and reporting
• Assist with year-end audit

Preferred Qualifications of the Interim Accounting Manager

• Strong understanding of accounting, finance, and management principles
• Solution-oriented and high level of efficiency.
• Comfortable around conversations involving equity and inclusion as part of a feminist organization
• Self-starter and self-sufficient
• Previous experience with audits and federal grant funding a plus
