Overview

Legacy Medical Group Neurology is looking for a Neurohospitalist to join our team.

Legacy Medical Group Neurology has neurohospitalists at all five Legacy Health stroke centers and has five outpatient practice locations with sub-specialty programs in movement disorders, epilepsy, vascular neurology, headache, and neuromuscular disease.

The neurohospitalist would be based primarily at Emanuel Hospital, located in Portland, Or. This full-time position provides consult service for all neurology patients and night call via telemedicine. Opportunity to work at multiple campuses including our Salmon Creek Medical Center in Vancouver, WA., to participate in outpatient follow up stroke clinic, and clinical trials supported by the Legacy Research Institute. Stroke Center Medical Directorship for the right candidate. Vascular neurologist preferred.

Legacy will consider other sub-specialties for exceptional candidates.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a four-year accredited U.S. Medical School or the equivalent.
  • Satisfactory completion of an accredited residency in Neurology.
  • Board Certified in Neurology.
  • Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the applicable state.
  • BLS certification (ACLS may substitute for BLS)
  • Experience with or interest in telemedicine desirable
