Overview

Remote Position (OR/WA Only)

This is a remote position - incumbents, who reside in Oregon or Washington only. There may be occasional situations that require work to be performed on-site at an assigned Legacy Health location. All new hires are required to come to a designated Legacy Health office location in Portland, Oregon prior to their start date for a new hire health assessment and to complete new hire paperwork. This position may require initial training and orientation to be site-based, before transitioning to the remote schedule.

The System Risk Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the System Risk Director and will investigate incidents with specific liability risk(s), assess organizational risk, and identify policy and procedural improvements. The System Risk Specialist is an integral part of our commitment to fostering a culture of safety and proactive risk mitigation across our healthcare system.



Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field preferred.

Experience:

  • Ability to work independently and proactively manage tasks within a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Prior experience in healthcare risk management, compliance, or a related field is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in data entry and record keeping.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.

Skills:

  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
  • Adaptability to changing environments and proactive learning.
  • Analytical skills for data analysis and reporting.
  • Collaborative attitude and team player mentality.
  • Competency in data entry and record keeping.

  • Proficiency in administrative tasks, such as scheduling, event coordination, and documentation management.

  • Strong organizational skills to manage claims data, records, and documentation efficiently.
