Job description

Parking: Parking is not provided as the teams use public transportation to work.

This position will be supporting one of the law firms in the downtown area. Anybody with legal experience would be preferred so they understand this type of culture; however, I'm also open to candidates who have worked in office services or reception services for the finance or banking fields, or anybody who has worked in high-end retail (Nordstrom, Sachs, Bloomingdales, etc). The team can teach the day-to-day operations, but we must have people with strong customer service, communication, time management, and organizational skills.

The primary responsibilities for this candidate will be

Reception Services: The employee will sit at the reception desk, but the phone volume and foot traffic will be very minimal.

Hospitality Services: setting up and cleaning up conference rooms after meetings and events

Mail Services, sorting incoming mail delivering mail and processing mail.

Copy Services: producing copy jobs for secretaries and attorneys.

  • Requires high school diploma or GED and1-2 years of related work experience.

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in legal industry is highly desired.

  • ABILITY TO PROVIDE AN EXCELLENT CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE, UTILIZING STRONG CUSTOMER SERVICE, PERSONAL AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS.

  • Some related copy job experience is preferred.

  • May require valid driver's license and minimum levels of auto insurance coverage.

  • Working knowledge of copier and other related equipment and repair is preferred.

  • Ability to utilize hardware and software to support functions such as cost recovery, document management and advanced workflow.

  • Requires knowledge and understanding of shipping/receiving procedures.

  • Basis electronics knowledge is preferred.

  • Possesses the ability to work independently and flexibly to complete projects.

  • Possesses the ability to determine the correct method and packing material as well as check packing slips for the accuracy of incoming materials.

  • Possesses the ability to comprehend instructions concerning mail delivery.

  • Possesses troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Possesses the ability to read and comprehend written technical information in the form of manuals, parts books and related publications.

  • Possesses excellent customer relations skills and excellent verbal communication skills.
