Interventional Radiology opening Altoona, Pennsylvania Located 100 miles from Pittsburgh, PAJ1 and H1 Visa Eligible About the Opportunity: Full-Time, permanent Competitive Compensation Package, Comprehensive Benefits Package includes health, dental, vision insurance; pension, generous CME allowance. Hospital employed position Single specialty group Monday-Friday with equal rotations on afternoons and weekends General radiology back-up call: 1:11, however, there is 24-7 Teleradiology backup. Radiologist only need to provide after hours coverage in the event of PACS downtime which is extremely rare. Practice Structure Group is comprised of 8 Neuroradiology/MSK/Body imaging, 2 Mammographers (each part-time); 4 interventional radiologists and 2 nuclear medicine/PET radiologists. Comprised of a total of 16 Radiologists: 11 full-time and 5 part-time. 8 Neuroradiology/MSK/Body Imaging; 2 Mammographers (each part-time), 4 interventional radiologists, and 2 nuclear medicine/PET radiologists. The Group provides 200,000+ reads per year. Recruitment is underway due to pending retirements and practice growth. Provides vascular and endovascular surgery, neurosurgery, behavioral health, vascular & wound care, and is a JCAHO-Accredited Stroke Center About the Group Medical Staff = 400+ practicing physicians, including 80+ primary care physicians (FP and General IM), interventional cardiology, cardio-thoracic surgery, vascular surgery, neurosurgery, ENT, nephrology, neurology, medical and radiation oncology, physiatry, and endocrinology. Also includes are a 23-physician hospitalist team, a full-service intensivist staff, and a team of interventional radiologists.
