Job description

UPMC Altoona Regional Health Services (ARHS) is recruiting an additional BC/BE, fellowship trained, vascular surgeon to provide full-scope vascular surgery including open and endovascular procedures, carotid endarterectomy, AV fistula graphs, and extremity bypass surgery . The Vascular Surgery Practice is located on the UPMC Altoona hospital campus with easy access to the 12-operating room suite, interventional/endovascular procedure room, and 6-operating room ambulatory surgery center. Our vascular surgeons are part of Altoona's Heart and Vascular Institute which currently includes 1 vascular surgeon, 1 cardio-thoracic surgeon, and 5 cardiologists.


This employed position offers a generous base salary plus work RVU bonus with an attractive UPMC physician benefit package.

The UPMC Altoona Medical Staff is comprised of 320+ practicing physicians on the active medical staff in primary care, and medical and surgical specialties.
