Job Description Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer - Cleared (Clearance Eligible). At Allied Universal, a Cleared Security Officer is entrusted with sensitive information and given the responsibility to protect classified information and personnel. As a Cleared Security Officer, you'll receive specialized training in site-specific security protocols associated with your clearance level, allowing for skill development and professional growth in the security field. Now Hiring Department of Defence Cleared Officers An active top secret clearance is a type of security clearance that provides access to information that can cause grave damage to national security if disclosed without authorization. It is active only for the time an individual holds the original job for which the clearance was designated. It requires a formal review every five years. To get an active top secret clearance, one must fill out a questionnaire, undergo fingerprinting and testing, and have an interview with Department of Defense personnel.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Alarm monitoring CCTV monitoring Camera Survey Answering phones; operate IP based telephone system Radio Dispatch; use multi-channel communications Radio and call logging Incident Report issuance and collection Operations support; routing of call information to the appropriate units for handling Ensure timely and effective response to incidents, alarms, notifications, calls, and other activities related to the Security Operations Center and its role as a central alarm monitoring station Receive and respond to emergency and non-emergency calls from employees, outside vendors, law enforcement, and the security field force via telephone, automated alarm monitoring and radio systems Process and evaluate information received from all available sources, and respond with the appropriate communication and dispatch procedures Coordinate with Security Operations Center staff to provide necessary documentation in support of uniformed guard force activity (e.g., Officer Dispatch, Incident Reporting, etc.) Provide high quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information with professionalism Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to ensure the protection of people, assets, and sensitive or classified information Greet guests and employees and escorts visitors and contractors to secure entry and exit points Follow site-specific performance manuals and post orders; reporting safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances via written and oral communication to client and/or other security personnel Respond to and assesses security alarms or emergency alarms Act as a first responder in emergency situations
QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE): A Resume is required. Must be at least 21+ years of age or older Driving Position: must possess a valid Driver's License with at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record (no major violations within last 36 months, no more than 1 accident in last 24 months, no more than one minor moving violation in last 24 months), and the ability to safely operate a vehicle required. Must be a US Citizen or Naturalized US citizen with documentation Must have an active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Clearance High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience Able to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) position appropriate level security clearance (national security eligibility determinations take into account a person's stability, trustworthiness, reliability, discretion, character, honesty, and judgment) Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment Must possess one or more of the following: Minimum of three (3) years of security experience on a Department of Defense-cleared site Prior military experience Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills Exceptional customer service skills Intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE): Prior law enforcement or armed security experience Associate's degree or higher In Criminal Justice, Business, or a related field
