We are looking for a detail-oriented Benefits Analyst to support the administration and continuous improvement of our retirement, health and life insurance, wellness, and other benefits programs. This role will contribute to enhancing the employee value proposition within Henkels and McCoy, a large multi-state public company in the Power Delivery Industry with multiple operating companies, ensuring our benefits offerings are effective and aligned with the needs of our diverse workforce.
Responsibilities:
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Analyze benefits data to identify trends, usage patterns, and areas for improvement.
Generate regular reports, presentations, and dashboards to communicate findings and recommendations to management.
Program Administration:
Assist in the administration of retirement plans, health and life insurance, and wellness initiatives, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Support the benefit enrollment process and maintain accurate benefits records within the HRIS.
Continuous Improvement:
Foster a continuous improvement mindset by actively seeking feedback from employees and stakeholders on benefits programs.
Identify opportunities for enhancements in benefits offerings and processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement changes.
Vendor Management:
Coordinate with external vendors to ensure effective service delivery and resolve any issues.
Assist in evaluating vendor performance, providing insights for contract negotiations and renewals.
Employee Communication and Education:
Develop and distribute clear, informative materials to educate employees about available benefits and promote engagement in wellness programs.
Working alongside HR Generalists, serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries, providing timely and accurate information regarding benefits.
Compliance Support:
Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations related to employee benefits.
Assist in preparing for audits and compliance reviews by gathering necessary documentation.
Project Participation:
Participate in special projects aimed at enhancing benefits programs and improving employee satisfaction.
Collaborate with Benefits Manager and HR and leadership to align benefits strategies with organizational goals.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in benefits administration or analysis, preferably in a public company or multi-state environment.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and experience with HRIS software.
Knowledge of employee benefits regulations, including ERISA, COBRA, and ACA.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing exceptional employee support.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a continuous improvement mindset.
