Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Fieldwork such as soil, surface water, and groundwater sampling, drilling and contractor oversight, aquifer testing, geophysical investigations, and remediation system O&M;

Chemical data and contaminant fate & transport evaluation;

Groundwater and soil remedy evaluation, cost estimation, and implementation;

Aquifer testing and hydrogeologic data analyses;

Environmental due diligence, regulatory compliance services, and permitting;

Data analysis, including preparing maps, tables, and figures; and

Preparation of technical reports, letters, memoranda, plans, specifications, and proposals.

Training: This position requires OSHA health and safety, first aid, and CPR training and medical monitoring, paid for by the firm. We also offer professional development opportunities including in-house seminars, webinars, and mentoring, that allow our professionals to build the technical and business skills necessary to become successful consultants.

Fieldwork: Up to 75%

Overnight travel: Up to 50%

Education and Licensure:
Bachelor's degree in geology or environmental science (required)

Advanced degree in geology or environmental science. (preferred)

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Ability to apply effective time management skills to balance multiple tasks simultaneously while completing work productively and efficiently.

Capability to articulate questions, complications, and technical challenges to appropriate task managers and project managers promptly and thoroughly. Applicant should have experience communicating scientific concepts verbally and written.

Experience leading small groups and directing individuals to complete tasks. Applicant should be able to demonstrate leadership capabilities.

Prior research experience in environmental, geology, or hydrogeology. (preferred)

Prior internship experience in environmental consulting. (preferred)

Valid U.S. driver's license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel. (required)
