Job Summary:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Special Education Recruiter to join our client in Bryn Mawr, PA. The recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, recruiting, and placing special education teachers, paraprofessionals, and other specialized staff in school districts, private schools, and educational programs. This role is crucial in ensuring that students with special needs have access to the best educational support available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and identify potential candidates for special education roles, including teachers, aides, and behavioral specialists.
  • Conduct interviews, screen applicants, and evaluate candidates to ensure they meet the qualifications and requirements for special education positions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with schools, districts, and other educational institutions to understand staffing needs.
  • Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, candidate outreach, interviews, offer negotiation, and onboarding.
  • Attend job fairs, networking events, and other recruitment activities to attract top talent in the special education field.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate and client databases.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful placements and ongoing support for clients and candidates.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in recruitment, preferably within the education or special education sectors.
  • Strong understanding of special education roles and the skills required for success in these positions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using recruitment tools, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and social media platforms for talent acquisition.
