OVERVIEW OF THE ACCOUNTING MANAGER ROLE:

• The accounting manager plays a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial reporting for 11 properties on a monthly basis. In addition to preparing the monthly financial statements, the accounting manager will collaborate closely with internal staff, providing training on company policies to ensure adherence and consistency across the organization.
• The accounting manager will actively engage in day-to-day financial activities, overseeing and managing various financial transactions and processes. This includes conducting thorough analysis of financial trends and monthly variances to budget, as well as year-over-year revenues.
• In this role, the accounting manager will demonstrate expertise in performing robust reconciliations, precise sales tax calculations, and comprehensive payroll analysis.
• Heavy analysis related in financial trends and monthly variances to budget and year-over-year revenues are critical to understanding growth potential for the company.
• The accounting manager will contribute significantly to the company's financial success by efficiently handling financial operations, providing insightful analysis, and maintaining strict adherence to established policies and procedures.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR A ACCOUNTING MANAGER:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, preferably with an Accounting specialization.
• Strong expertise in preparing financial statements.
• Hands-on experience in day-to-day accounting functions.
• Preferably, experience in the hospitality industry.
