Insurance Defense Associate Attorney

Position: Insurance Defense Associate Attorney
Experience Level: 3-5 years
Location: In-office (with Work-from-Home policy)
Billables: 1800 hours annually

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Insurance Defense Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience to join our team. The successful candidate will manage a federal court caseload, overseeing all aspects of litigation for insurance defense cases. This role requires in-office presence with the benefit of a flexible Work-from-Home policy as needed.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage a caseload with a primary focus on federal court matters
  • Conduct thorough research, draft pleadings, motions, and briefs
  • Handle discovery, including depositions and interrogatories
  • Represent clients in court hearings and trials
  • Provide timely and strategic communication with clients, carriers, and colleagues

Qualifications:


  • 3-5 years of experience in insurance defense, with federal court exposure preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated organizational abilities and attention to detail
