Job description

Duties Serve as Program manager for the Family Advocacy Program and Exceptional Family Member Program. Develop and provides training and publicity campaigns to inform the installation on child, spousal abuse, Problematic Sexual Behavior in Children and Youth (PSB-CY). Provide services that are available and accessible for families in need. Identify program resource requirements to provide input for the Family Advocacy and Exceptional Family Member Program budgets. Develop and implement installation procedures that outline responsibilities for the execution of the Family Advocacy and Exceptional Family Member Programs. Prepare reports for planning purposes in accordance with governing program to meet requirements outlined in regulations Requirements Conditions of Employment Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation. Child Care Background Check Required; Position requires incumbent to obtain/maintain a Child Care National Agency Check with Inquires. Tier 3 Positions (Confidential): This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Confidential clearance or access for the duration of employment. The duties of this position require the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License in one of the 50 U.S. states or possessions to operate a vehicle. This position requires occasional TDY - 5%. Appointment to this position is subject to a one-year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315 Must possess a Master of Social Work Degree from a university accredited by the Council on Social Work Education. IAW DoDI 6400.05, a current valid, unrestricted clinical license to practice social work independently is required. An independent clinical Social Work license, i.e., Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW); Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW). Therapy and Counseling Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-09).
