The driver is responsible for transporting residents and/or pharmacy order using vehicles provided by management . This individual will find meaningful work in this role with the opportunity to collaborate and make a positive impact every day! Apply now! Responsibilities: + May provide transportation on a selected basis to miscellaneous activities such as funerals or other activities. + Responsible for transporting pharmacy order. + Observes and follows all safety rules and regulations. Observes and reports safety hazards in a timely manner. Uses facility provided safety equipment as required. + Observes and promotes resident's rights at all times. Serves as a resident advocate. + May run errands or handle incoming and outgoing mail or freight as directed by the Transportation Supervisor or Administrator. Benefits: + Paid holidays (premium pay if scheduled to work the holiday) + Education Assistance plans + Employee pharmacy program Qualifications: + High School Diploma or GED required. + Proven satisfactory demonstration of a valid driver license with safe driving record. + Ability to work independently and handle emergencies. + Ability to interact appropriately and professionally with staff, resident, ve ndors, volunteers, and the public, in person and via the telephone + Ability to lift up to 10 pounds. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Ability to bend, twist, stoop, and squat repetitively.
