Job description
Overview:
Lutron is seeking an experienced Sales Finance Leader to join our sales operations function at our Corporate Headquarters in Coopersburg, PA. In this role, you will support the entirety of Lutron's international sales organization by applying your keen financial acumen and proven system skills to develop and track sales forecasting and expense budgets to achieve our goals. You will deliver high-value financial insights to senior leadership, driving our global sales efforts. Additionally, you will provide leadership within the team, either by managing direct reports or leading cross-functional teams. You will leverage your ability to work collaboratively to support data-driven business decisions between domestic and international team members. These business-critical regions will rely on you for tracking performance metrics and providing profitability reporting.
Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor financial analysts or cross-functional teams, providing guidance and support to drive results and foster a collaborative environment.
Develop monthly sales forecasts and expense budgets for all international sales regions, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Create content and run monthly financial review meetings for the international sales teams.
Communicate variances to plan, forecast, and prior year performance to finance and international sales teams.
Serve as the primary point of contact for international sales teams for ad-hoc financial analysis and requests.
Report and analyze foreign exchange trends and assess their impact on the regional businesses.
Analyze individual project profitability and collaborate with sales leaders to develop final negotiation strategies.
Design and construct sales reporting within the Salesforce platform, ensuring data accuracy and actionable insights.
Deliver high-quality, value-added financial insights to senior management through ad-hoc and self-developed analysis.
Foster a collaborative environment that encourages the sharing of best practices and cross-functional teamwork.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree; accounting or finance preferred
Minimum, cumulative GPA of 3.00
5+ years of relevant experience
Experience demonstrating leadership ability, whether through managing direct reports or leading cross-functional teams.
Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office and data management software platforms such as SAP
COGNOS & (url removed) experience preferred
Proven ability to deliver insightful financial reports and communicate complex financial data effectively to senior leadership.
