About the Role

Job Title : Application Support Engineer

Key Responsibilities

  • Root cause and fix data pipelines issues using Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, and PySpark.
  • Identify issues and drive optimization of existing data pipelines for performance and scalability.
  • Ensure data security and compliance through access control and encryption techniques.
  • Collaborate with business teams to understand business criticality and drive right priority.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 4-5 years of experience.
  • Strong working experience in Production Support Incidents and Bug fixes.
  • High level Understanding of different database systems like Oracle, SQL Server.
  • Good troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently and directly with the client.
  • Basic understanding of AWS or AZURE based cloud experience.
  • Should have good communication and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Previous experience in support of Python, SQL, Spark, and Azure Databricks.
  • Familiarity with AWS services such as S3, Redshift, and Athena.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps principles.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Location: Pittsburgh, PA (Onsite/Hybrid)
