Job description

Overview:
This position is responsible for the overall maintenance of the office buildings and the grounds. This includes all light maintenance as well as bathroom repairs, painting, changing of light bulbs, unloading of trucks, etc. The applicant must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. with or without an accommodation. This area also includes the use of vehicles for transportation to and from the airport and various other deliveries, etc. Additionally, the Lead Janitor will provide orientation and training of the janitorial staff, giving team assistance, feedback and guidance for job specific tasks.

$15hr, 40 hours per week. Full benefits.

Responsibilities:
Handles light maintenance for buildings which includes bathroom repairs, painting, electrical repairs, snow removal, salting, etc.

Training, assisting, and guiding the janitorial staff.

Moves and relocates various departments to other buildings or areas within the same building.

Unloading trucks

Maintaining vehicles

Handles pick-up and deliveries to various locations

Qualifications:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos; write simple correspondence; effectively present information to others one-on-one.

Ability to apply common sense understanding and carry out simple one or two-step instructions; deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
