Job description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Audiologist / Hearing Aid Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating hearing disorders, as well as fitting and maintaining hearing aids. This role requires a deep understanding of audiological principles, excellent patient care skills, and a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Key Responsibilities:
Hearing Assessments : Conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations using a variety of diagnostic tools and procedures to determine the type and degree of hearing loss.
Hearing Aid Fitting and Maintenance : Select, fit, program, and adjust hearing aids and other assistive listening devices. Provide patients with instructions on the use and care of their hearing aids.
Patient Counseling : Offer counseling to patients and their families regarding hearing loss, hearing aids, and other treatment options. Provide support and education to ensure patient satisfaction and successful device use.
Follow-Up Care : Schedule and conduct follow-up appointments to ensure hearing aids are functioning optimally and to address any issues or concerns patients may have.
Record Keeping : Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, including test results, treatment plans, and progress notes.

Qualifications :
Education : Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) or Master's degree in Audiology from an accredited program. Hearing Aid Technician certification or relevant experience is also considered.
Licensure/Certification : Current state licensure or certification as an Audiologist or Hearing Aid Dispenser as required.
Soft Skills : Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a compassionate approach to patient care.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
