The ideal candidate will be responsible for estimating project costs, managing timelines, and ensuring that electrical installations are completed on schedule and within budget.

My client is a reputable union electrical contractor based in Chester County, PA, specializing in commercial, industrial, and pharmaceutical electrical projects. Our commitment to quality, safety, and sustainability has earned us a strong reputation in the industry.

Description

  • Prepare accurate cost estimates for electrical projects, including labor, materials, and overhead.
  • Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to provide detailed and competitive bids.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to refine project scopes and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of electrical projects from inception to final inspection.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and team members to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Monitor project budgets and schedules, providing regular updates to management and clients.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing any questions or concerns throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate communication between the field and office teams to ensure alignment on project objectives.
  • Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders.
  • Ensure all projects comply with local codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Promote a culture of safety on job sites, conducting regular safety meetings and inspections.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical estimating and project management within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and standards.
  • Proficient in estimating software and project management tools.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Union affiliation or experience working with union contractors is a plus.
