We are seeking a highly skilled IA Engineer to provide critical support to the government by delivering information assurance (IA) guidance and procedures to the RRMC IT department. This role includes monitoring, tracking, and submitting accreditation packets for RRMC IT information systems. The IA Engineer will facilitate the Certificate of Networthiness (CoN) process, review CoN requests, and assist in establishing, publishing, and executing information assurance policies. Key Responsibilities: Review network audit log files to ensure compliance and security.
Run and evaluate ACAS scans to identify vulnerabilities and ensure system integrity.
Report IAVA status using the NETOPS Reporting Tool.
Serve as the interface with the CTNOSC for reporting various cybersecurity issues.
Provide support for Security Risk Assessments to evaluate potential risks.
Manage the Risk Management Framework (RMF) program to maintain compliance with IA policies.
Oversee the Information Assurance Vulnerability Management program.
Perform IA oversight and conduct inspections of information systems.
Represent the IA team at RRMC Change/Configuration board meetings.
Manage hardware and software changes to maintain system security.
Identify and assess abnormalities, attacks, damages, and unauthorized modifications within the network.
Support, participate in, and assist with the onboarding of new customers to the Joint Consolidated Server Room (JCSR).
Provide ongoing training and technical direction to users and team members regarding information assurance best practices.
Required Qualifications: Must have Active Secrect clearance, TS/CSI Clearance preferred
2 years' experience working in the Cyber Security/ Information Security field
A bachelor's degree in an IT, Computer Science or Cybersecurity related field
Security + or eMASS certified or CISSP, CISM or equivalent Security certification
Working Conditions/Working Environment/Physical Demands Basic office work environment at government facility location
Hours of operation are M-F between .
Occasionally, project requirements may require temporary adjustment of work hours/days
Duties are subject to change based on the needs of the customer
