Overview:
Function (Scope and Main Purpose of Job)

The Slot Technician Supervisor is responsible for assisting with successful operation of the technical operations of the Slots and Marketing Department. Supervise the operational readiness, material conditioning and regulatory compliance of all slot machines. Assist with the repair of machines, assemblies and support equipment on a daily basis to ensure maximum performance.

Specific Responsibilities and Duties

Maintaining required documentation of slot moves, maintenance and repair logs, and purchase orders and requisitions for slot machine parts and supplies.

Supervise house technicians as directed by Slot Department and/or coordinates Service Technicians directed by Maryland Lottery & Gaming Control Agency in the performance of their duties as assigned.

Responsible for creating/reviewing reports and statistical data for malfunctions or other problems and implementing appropriate maintenance and repair lists.

Supervise processes for investigating standard deviation, variance and other performance errors with slot machines

Review department's financial data, operational performance and all other activities with Slot Technical Manager, VP/Director of Slot Operations.

Assist and work with the Slot Operations Managers/Supervisors to ensure maximum game availability and customer experience.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Job Requirements (skills, knowledge, and abilities)

Ability to analyze and interpret department needs and requirements.

Ability to read, write simple instructions and regulatory documents.

Knowledge of hand tools and electronic testing devices.

Ability to solve complex problems.

Ability to perform assigned duties in an interruptive office under frequent time pressure.

Broad variety of tasks and deadlines requires an irregular work schedule.

Educational Requirements

Four (4) year degree in a technical field, or specific work experience to include:

Three (3) to Eight (8) years of experience in Slot Technical Supervision preferred while electronics and maintenance of technical equipment, video game machines or other industry experience is considered.

Experience with slot accounting and player tracking systems preferred.

Experience with multiple slot machine manufacturers and models, set up, communications and optioning preferred.

Experience with AutoCAD and floor layout optional.

Must be able to acquire and maintain the Maryland Lottery & Gaming Control Agency license required for the position.

Physical Requirements

Casino is over 100,000 square feet and requires ability and energy to move about it with a true sense of urgency.

Use of going up and down 31 stairs multiple times per day and elevators.

Working Conditions

24/7 high energy casino with over 100,000 sq. ft. of gaming and entertainment space and approximately 500 employees.

Exposed to alcohol, cigarette and cigar smoke, bright lights, and loud noises.

You will work in an environment where smoking is allowed.
