_ PA or NATIONALLY REGISTERED PARAMEDIC -OR- ADVANCED EMT CERTIFICATION IS REQUIRED BEFORE APPLICATION. (Reciprocity to PA certification is required by PA DOH.) _

HANOVER AREA FIRE & RESCUE is now accepting applications for Paramedics and AEMT's. Come join the team of the area's only fire-based EMS system that is responsible primarily for 911 emergency calls.

All salary and benefits are governed by a Collective Bargaining Agreement and provide an annual base rate percentage increase each year.

Progressive Medical Director and Education Program.

Full-Time Staff Receive:
Starting Base Rate: $53,820.00 Annually for Paramedics.
Starting Base Rate: $46,800 Annually for AEMT's.
Schedule: 24 on / 72 off (built-in overtime).
Initial Uniforms are Provided with an Annual $300 Allowance ($150 for Part-time).
457 Retirement Plan with an Employer Percentage Match.
Insurance: Health/Dental/Eye
PTO & Sick Leave Accrual
In-house Con-Ed and annual National Registry Recertification Classes.
Holiday Pay at 1.5 times the hourly rate.
Overtime on a holiday paid at double time.

Part-time Paramedics start at $23.00 / hour.

Part-time AEMT's start at $20.00 / hour.

_Other requirements: PA Paramedic or AEMT with EVOC- ACLS-PALS-CPR-HAZMAT Awareness-NIMS-Valid Motor Vehicle Operator's License._
