Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Fraud Analyst to join our Fraud Prevention and Investigations team. This role focuses on leveraging data insights to analyze business processes, identify potential fraud risks, and recommend improvements to enhance organizational performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Fraud Detection and Prevention:

Familiarity with various fraud risks across multiple payment and access channels.

Experience using fraud detection software to mitigate potential threats.

Basic knowledge of key regulations such as the Bank Secrecy Act, UCC, Regulation E, and others related to fraud prevention.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Data Analysis:

Analyze fraud-related data to identify patterns and potential gaps in existing processes.

Create reports for management, offering insights and recommendations.

Identify opportunities to improve internal controls, policies, and procedures.

Collaboration:

Build and maintain strong relationships with other departments to address issues that extend beyond fraud prevention.

Work closely with different teams to ensure cohesive fraud mitigation efforts.

Technical Writing:

Draft comprehensive policies, procedures, and visual aids to clearly communicate fraud prevention measures and strategies.

Required Qualifications:

At least 1 year of experience in fraud detection or prevention, preferably in financial services.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

Self-confidence and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Familiarity with office tools such as MS Word, Excel, and Outlook, along with core banking systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of best practices and procedures in fraud mitigation.

Ability to navigate multiple systems and provide data-driven insights.
