Summary:
The Mental Health Professional (Therapist) is responsible for providing diagnostic and therapeutic services to individuals and their families. The Mental Health Professional (Therapist) participates actively in all relevant team, supervision, and general staff meetings, to enhance the services of Community Services Group. The Mental Health Professional (Therapist) reports to the Program Coordinator or Director.
This position is part of our Mental Health Treatment (MHT) Outpatient Services.
A hybrid schedule providing both in-person and telehealth services is offered.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) training will be provided to expand our team.
Yearly paid training toward CEUs.
Full-Time (40 hrs./wk.) Monday to Friday office hours with 2 evenings per week.
CSG is offering a $2,000 Sign-On Bonus for new hires in this position- the bonus will be paid upon the successful completion of the 3-month initial evaluation period.
Wage Information:
Starting salary (negotiable based on relevant experience): LSW/APC/AMFT - $50,000/yr., LPC/ LMFT/LCSW - $55,000/yr
Job Description:
Provides treatment services to families including therapy, skills training, and education designed to enable families to care for their mentally ill or emotionally disturbed children in the home.
Works closely with other mental health specialists, such as psychiatrists, psychologists, clinical social workers, case managers, psychiatric nurses, school counselors, and behavioral health providers.
Provides diagnostic and therapeutic services in accordance with standards applicable to mental health professionals.
Provide individual, family and/or group counseling services to children, adolescents, and families.
Actively participates in clinical team and staff meetings.
Provides clinical counseling in community settings, when applicable.
Collaborate with other professionals, but primarily works independently.
Knowledge of behavior health diagnosis and coding for children/adolescent, adults, and the elderly.
Ability to collaborate with the family and/or primary caregiver and/or other members of the healthcare team.
Qualifications:
Master's or doctorate degree from an accredited college or university in social work, counseling, psychology or a related field;
Possess the following licenses: Licensed Social Worker (LSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapy (LAMFT) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT). Licensure is preferred.
